Aim of the method/technique |
Obtain a data value of the climatic data for all the pixels of a study area to work with grid map in GIS.
|
Scale – spatial and temporal |
Between 20 and 100 m raster format grid.
|
Brief description |
It is constructed by extrapolating the climatic data collected from the meteorological stations of the region and the surrounding areas (100 m resolution raster format). The data have to include the average of long term data of precipitation, minimum and maximum temperature and potential evapotranspiration (ET0).
|
Data requirements |
Sufficient metereological station climatic data to carry out an adequate extrapolation of the climatic data
|
Main applications in grazing land regions |
To characterize SESs. To be used as explanatory variables to assess the relationship between SES components.
